Swissarmy Forester vrs Trailmaster ?

One of my mates asked me lastnight if I would recommend 1 or the other and tbh I've never owed either so can owner/users give me an idea.
I've watched afew youtube vid's and they both look good.

Based on the fact that most bottles of wine are now screw top, I would suggest the Trailmaster with the Philips screwdriver (instead of the corkscrew) would be the most sensible. On the other hand, if he takes fine wines on camp, maybe the Forester.

Have both Trailmaster (pre serrated blade) and Forester and they are comparable bar tools mentioned above.

I also have the next one up the Victorinox Outrider which is my normal hunting edc SAK and has the extra layer containing scissors and has both corkscrew/philips screwdriver.

The can opener on a SAK has a point that fits into a cross headed (Pozidrive 2) screw.

The corkscrew on a SAK is quite handy for more than removing corks.

I second that, had one for 30 years now and excellent all rounder, i wish it was with a thumb hole blade for one hand opening!

I've just remembered that I had a similar Picknicker knife in the 90s and lost it on an Alpine climb when the split ring broke (it was attached to my harness). Fortunately, I was in Switzerland and so bought a replacement in Zermatt, as they were cheaper there than in the UK at the time.

The second Picknicker may still be at my parents house somewhere. It had a locking blade (with a grey release catch) so it wouldn't be a pocket knife in the UK now.

The tip of the can opener should fit a pozi-2. So I don't see a real to duplicate.
The corkscrew is useful if you're unpicking knots and I'm likely to carry cordage... Do I EDC a corkscrew? No. But I have other options at hand... and I use quick-release knots with a bowline to hook into and PULL.
