Swiss Army Knife mod

It was the flint from a BCB survival kit. I think I'm gonna take a little material from the knife scale and try and form an epoxy end bit on the rod to match the scale shape like the toothpick has?

Nice, saw a video with someone doing it with a regular huntsman, looks like you've have managed to get a more substantial rod in that one.


I do find it strange why Victorinox hasn't explored the idea.
 
Good idea, you can buy epoxy putty, I think Wilkinsons do it in a blister pack or Halfords as a stick, which would be just about ideal for making the handle part.
