I have one of the swedish sacs and have found it to be excellent, today I found a fallen yew branch and took a section home.

Despite the lack of padding it was very comfortable with the weight.

The model number is LK-70 and if you get the cordura version it will last you a lifetime. I have imported a lot of these for a couple group buys and people seems very happy with them.

I have both of these sacks and they truly are superb, although I have replaced the harness, the actual sacks are the best going without a doubt.
The LK 35 get used for pretty much everything, 3-4 day trips away, it carries all I need. I just finished modifying one for someone who is on a 10 day course in Canada and its the only pack he is taking.

Do you have any pictures of the modifed pack? I would love to see your modifications!
