Hi there folks,

Looking to pick your brains again I'm afraid. . .

Has anyone got a SWC Knife, or used one/got photos of one?

I'm considering one and just wanted a bit of input from those of you in the know!

Thanks in advance!

Dennis H (Brisa) on BB has just posted a video of assembling a knife. His was an Enzo but I feel sure you will learn something from the video.

I think it is under Dealers and is listed as "Video"

SWC knives, I ordered some kits two months ago and several emails went unanswered when enquiring about delivery time, then I ordered something else and I messed up the payment and got a reply within a few hours, since I have inquired again with no response.
Umm, you decide. I guess he is very busy, I`m told its among the best kit available, I wait patiently...

Steves products are of the highest quality,
His work is becoming very popular and hence, I believe, his lead times are stretching out a little. A little patience in ordering should see you with a very fine knife indeed.

Hi Mike,

Through email I am told that for a finished knife turnaround is 8-10 weeks, The knife kits a bit quicker.

For a price I emailed him what I wanted and he sent me back a quote, simple!:)

Hope that helps

Yep, I think SWC stands for steven wade cox, I ordered the blank materials from him (piece of 4mm O1 steel and some wood). They arrived within a week of payment.

I can imagine that he is getting quite busy with the basically the same knive designn as the alan wood/woodlore knive for half the price.

Lupo was a SWC blade kit. Got the blade from Steve about a week after ordering. Made mine 3mm thick rather than 4mm and a 100mm blade instead of 110mm. Here she is in her Buckeye clothing:

Had top service all the way through the deal, cannot fault SWC for quality or customer service.

Hi folks!

I just wanted to take a moment to say to anyone considering one of Steve's [SWC] knives that I have just ordered one and found the customer service to be excellent!

I have made a few changes to what I wanted and not only was Steve happy to alter the order, but he was happy to advise about the best results that I could achieve whilst drawing on his experience as a maker without changing what I wanted. Fantastic.

I can't wait to receive it now!

Thanks
Drew
