Just looking through threads saw a few words about bear growels not a bad prog has any one in uk bushcraft land heard of Les Stroud ( survivor man) Having seen a few episodes not a bad program His web site makes good reading my thoughts sorry if ive offended any one

I've seen all the survivorman series. I found Les very entertaining and very raw as he films everything himself with no film crew or production team.
Not as polished as RM or BG but refreshingly different.

I enjoyed the series as a different view of the subject. He is out there doing what it says on the tin i.e. he doesn't die during the episode.

Certainly worth a watch to see how miserable it can get, as opposed to Ray's 'Hotel with room service in the bush'.

Learnt a few things from watching and picked up on one or two bits that Les missed which would have helped. Recommended viewing.

les is a lousy cook though, every time i see him prepare food it is scorched black.

not a chance he will get the runs though

Les Stroud is better at surviving miserably than anyone else on the planet.
