Does anyone else remember the glory days?
Does anyone else own both styles of badge?

Yep ,,, When survival aids were the only show in town

...and excellent they were too. Still got my Survival Aids pile sleeping bag from the (?70s?) (lost the inner somewhere in the house) and its as good as new. Double ventile orange jacket got thrown out by the wife "cos it was scruffy........"

Is the latter technically grounds for divorce?

I did a navigation course on Cannock Chase with the Survival Club, I was fifteen at the time and the Chase was just up the road. I always wanted to do one of Lofty's Jungle courses but it was a bit beyond my means, did anyone get to go on one?
