I froze some leftover damsons in the autumn, and they are now defrosted and, today, will begin the process of turning them into wine

Forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere, but your knowledge and use of all that surrounds you sounds fantastic, and i was wondering if you are, have been or working towards self-sufficiency?

I just wondered as it is a pipe dream of mine and despite having a time absorbing full time job, love to read, practice and hopefully one day have the same knowledge and practicality that you have.
