OK, what do you all use to store\transport your kit in? I was thinking of getting hold of some kind of box to throw in the back of my Landy and was wondering what other people used.

We find that a mix of plastic boxes (the stackable kind with lids) and thick, waterproof Ortlieb bags. Rest goes in backbacks. Everyting secured with bungees and webbing!

You gotta have Green :p

Boxes are good, and something waterproof for some stuff - incase your Landie leaks (what do I mean "incase") Helps that they can just get loaded in and out, so you can have some dedicated kit storage at home and away.

Just make sure it is nice and secure - we fitted a dog guard to stop stuff hitting us on the back of our heads.

If you are worried about security, I would go cheap skate and get some of those rucksack cage type wire bags that travellers use, and lock stuff to the inside of the Landie.

In case a Landie leaks ... :rolmao: :rolmao: :rolmao:

Ever hear this one ...

A body engineer from Lode Lane goes on an exchange visit to Mitsubishi in
Japan and watches the engineers developing the latest Shogun bodyshell. He
notices that on the workbench they have a cat in a small cage and he asks
what it's for. The jap engineer tells him when they have finished a Shogun
they lock a cat in it and go home. If the cat is dead when they return in
the morning they know the shutlines on the doors are up to their high
standards.

The LR guy likes this idea and when he gets back to Solihull he takes his
cat into work and locks it in a Defender and goes home for the night. When
he returns in the morning the cat is gone.

Some more ...

Did you hear the one about the guy that peeked into a Land Rover and asked the owner "How can you tell one switch from another at night? They all look the same.
"He replied, it does not matter which one you use, nothing happens !"

The Lucas motto: "Get home before dark."

Lucas - Inventor of the first intermittent wiper.

Lucas - Inventor of the self-dimming headlamp.

Land Rover three position headlight switch - Dim, Flicker and Off.

The Original Anti-Theft Device - Lucas Electrics.

"I have had a Lucas pacemaker for years and have never had any trou..."

If Lucas made guns, wars would not start

I'll have you know that Lucas electrics keep 90% of Land Rovers on the road.

Mind you the other 10% get where they're going.
