This is one of my slow projects that's been under the bench for a while waiting for inspiration and suitable parts to present themselves.. Shoehorning in the new electrics at the moment on account of Captain Nemo's original design using Sodium batteries having some issues. When done it will re-charge safely on USB and in an emergency can double up as a small powerbank for a cellphone. Next trick is make a downlight look like a bulkhead lamp....

First fit complete. Wired up & working but held together with blu-tak for the all important "How bright is it?" test tonight.

There's not a lot of apparent difference between the last two shots because LED flashlights are usually dimmed by switching them on/off really fast. This creates an optical illusion that makes you think there's less light, digital cameras however are not fooled so easily,

It's no Martian death ray however more than enough to work or read by and if need arise keep the terror at bay when it's as dark as Cthulhu's armpit and the nightmare begins to chatter....
