Snap decision to go out and canoe camp on an island last night. Balmaha
Busy but Loch was quiet. A nice sandy spot for no ticks. I tried a 1 man tent I got cheap in lockdown but I just can’t settle in small tents with low roofs so just slept out under the stars, very clear but a decent down robbens bag was cozy.. Great sunrise paddle back with no other Loch users.
The “overflow car park” is the best for launching although mobbed yesterday. You can pay with contactless or an app. Best thing is you can pay in advance and it’s only £5 for 24hrs. So £5 launch day then book ahead for the following day.
New gear was Juice phone/iPad charger which worked well recharging my phone and iPad with charge left in it. You can also charge two devices at a time.
