stalking practice at home - sounds like a Viz comic top tip tho:
if you have motion sensors in the corner of your rooms at home; they obviously go off (you may hear a click - or just see a red led come on) if you move a certain amount.
well,
see if you can get from one corner of the room to the other (or from one part of the house to the other) without setting it off.
anyone catches you and you'll look mad, got the idea from a cool old 70'd diamond heist film, but its great for getting used to moving slowly.
good for developing patience, stealth, muscle etc - set obstacles for yourself - and be harsh - if it goes off, start from scratch, dont just carry on.

it gets a bit addictive when you get into it but it makes you think about every movement very carefully. obviously you have dried twigs etc to alert the occupants to your presence out in the sticks, but you get the idea. nothing like doing it for real, but practice is always good.
