Having made a hobo stove i'm thinking of trying out making a wood gasifier.....

but i've got my mind set on finding two stainless steel tins with lids that fit in each other with around a 10mm gap

anyone able to help out i can't seem to find any..........

Home base sell double walled stainless steel wine coolers for £6.99. I use these for wood gas stoves.

Now thats a nice idea, how did you get the internal holes done? and it take it there are holes in the bottom (internally ofc)

Internal holes at top quite easy. Mark holes on masking tape. Tap with centre punch then use a 3 mm drill.

Bottom holes drilled through both outer and inner chamber from underneath. I've fitted a fan to one of mine and now considering using steam to power the fan as thermoelectric generators are a bit pricey. But boy, a fan makes a huge difference.
