hi all.

i just spotted my first swallow of the year yesterday. i was wondering how far north they've got so far?

also, it looks like the beltaine will be bang on time this year, the hawthorn around edinburgh is just about to burst into bloom.

Had some in Ayrshire c. 3 weeks ago.I reckon some migrants were held up round the Med' by weather while we enjoyed the sun.
There's a web site run by the B.T.O. called birdtrack, which collates folks sightings, showing the progress of migrants into the country.
