Spring Growth - Early April 2014

I have been out and about over the last few weeks watching and photographing all the late winter and early spring growth around my village.

Here are a few pictures of what has been appearing over the last week.

Anti Clockwise from top left - Forget Me Not, Dog Violet, Wood Aven, Speedwell, Stitchwort and Damson

Anti Clockwise from top left - Cherry blossom, Oxlip, Hedge Garlic, Marsh Marigold and early Orchid leaves

Anti Clockwise from top left - Silverbirch, Hazel, Horse Chestnut and Hawthorn

Not yet out - Anti Clockwise from top left - English Oak, Beech, Ash, Unknown and Lime

I made a little video of the day. Apologies for the sharp cuts between scenes. I will endeavor to work on my editing skills in the future (this is my first compilation video).
