I had an electric cooker that came with one of those timer mystery things. In 12 years I used that cooker I never worked out how that damned thing worked

So, so, so glad that the light is back
It has been one long dreich Winter, and I am beyond scunnered of the gloom.

I didn't forget, though I almost came a cropper anyway! - I set my alarm clock forward an hour when I went to bed then realised at 5am this morning that it advances automatically itself!! almost lost 2 hours of sleep!
