Splendid idea.....(Charge's again)

Was browsing through www.equipped.com this afternoon and happened upon a thread describing how one user had modified a longish saw blade, using his trusty dremmel to slot into the lanyard ring/pocket clip groove on the Leatherman Charge.

First "modification" of kit I've seen in ages that I actually think is not more trouble than it's worth. Any suggestions for other items that could slot in there using the same technique?

How well does the lanyard stay clipped in? Is the saw likely to pull out if it gets jammed?

It's positive enough, but you have to be careful not to disengage the latch accidently.

I was thinking that some of the spoon carving types might be able to fit in one of those bendy blades, hacksaw would be handy for experimenters and I'm also looking at the diamond router sharpener that I use with an eye to grinding bits off it.
