Not even going there - I have to read things several times to digest any meaning from written passages

I actually think that I'm developing a unique form of dyslexia!

You read 3,147 words per minute.
That makes you 1,159% faster than the national average.

And 3 questions right? It cannot be accurate !

Ha ha, 345 on the first page for me but all three questions right. Slower than slow but I already knew that...

It's not consistant, even increasing the number of paragraphs to maximum, and answering extra questions (six right) and changing the book, my score increased too.
I actually got it up to 1256 at one attempt.
Alice in Wonderland at maximum size paragraphs I got 962, which apparantly means I could read War & Peace in 10 hours 10 minutes.......I'd need to be helluva bored  or I could 12.7 books on my Sony Reader before I needed to recharge it :D

I have to admit I hated having to read at the same time as everyone else when I was in school :( I don't think it's an intelligence thing (look at Dyslexic's, far from thick) I think it's a knack/ability. I'm good at mental arithmatic too, it just made things a bit easier in school, though I'd hope that modern education would take account of the differing abilities of individuals in a way that it didn't for my generation. I can still have blindingly stupid moments

cheers,
Toddy

I got 208, 17% lower than the national average apparently, I suppose that's why I am awarded 25% extra time in my exams. Speaking of which, I have my technology AS re-sit tomorrow, I better get back to work!
cheers for the link,

paddy
