Nice pieces! I love the way spalting spices up an ordinarily plain looking wood. Thanks for posting.

 

[Robson Valley]

Figures are done in a style called "flat plane carving." I think it has some Scandinavian origins.

It is a delight (again) to see your spoons done in flat plane.
It's so much less than simplistic and more artistic statement in design.
Especially well brought off with the attention to the left/right symmetrical planes.
