Spalted beech knife

Hi all,though I would share anther knife I have made.I made it from 4 mm 01 tool steel which I put a scandi grind on.It has spalted beech scales,red g10 liners,6 mm mosaic pins and 8mm brass lanyard

Lovely bit of work there, the scales suit it well, nice to see plenty of handle to work a 4mm blade too. I’ve had knives in 4mm that I’ve found too chunky either due to blade length or grind, that one looks about right.

Very nice bit of work there. I like the look of the height of the scandi grind.
A slightly higher grind with a shallower angle works well i think on thicker stock.

Made a sheath it’s not my greatest bit of leather work but will do the job,although I’m not sure about the snap belt loop,as i think it’s better stitched for safe keeping of the knife.
