Have had this BushKing for quite a while. It's sat in a safe for a very long time, but recently it came out and got used - had always intended to use this one, but keep the other (Neill Schutte) in a virgin state.
Can honestly say I have not had so much fun using a knife for a very long time - slightly unfair on all the others of course, because this was a day long task, but hey...
Does this thing cut!? Does it ever - it doesn't stop. What a brilliant piece o' kit. Well done, Piet Gray from SA for its creation - no wonder people rave about it.
All nice n shiny before we started...
Slicing through stuff on the ground...
- and up the ladder too. The pommel guard serves very well to keep the knife snug and safely in the hand. It was whacked into knots and heavy branches, and twisted out of position many times...
Job complete, and will need to give it a polish later, but the N690 has retained its edge superbly, I am more than impressed..........a great HT job there, Gunther
