Hi,

I'm looking for a block of Sequoia. Preferably a burl or of the curl variety.
It just seems so hard to get hold of in the UK.

Does anyone know of any source or am I out of look?

Cheers.

Redwood rarely has burrs though commonly has ripple. It was commonly planted in late 18th early 19th C landscape parks but these trees are still far from mature. They do occasionally get blown down so talking to tree surgeons after a storm would be the way. Why did you want it in particular?

I have two pieces both approx 600x1000x50. so it should not be a problem. Not sure what type it is, and wont be able to get to it for a couple of weeks.
