Others it ain't too bad...
Today dawned bright and clear and after getting my charges up and making their breakfasts and getting a bit of housework done, the chap I was working with until 1pm decided he wanted to go for a walk...
So off we went for a walk in the local Nature Reserve. My charge took the photos (and I took some of him but confidentiality rules mean I cannot post them )
Not much wildlife to see but the area is fascinating and the mud was clearly showing tracks including deer slots.

It was a great day out - the pack is sooooooooooooo comfortable ... and I have lost a stone since Xmas: I guess I work too hard....

Actually I was looking at the river!
It was here that I tested the Buffalo system clothing by being tethered in the river in mid winter - until I was thoroughly chilled then having a coffee and a Marsbar before getting into my canoe - 20 mins later I was sweating and basically dry ... so I jumped in and my buddy took a photo of me exploding out of the water that is still used in Buffalo publicity http://www.buffalosystems.co.uk/2012/11/speaks-for-itself/
