Thought I'd show off some of the custom sheaths and scabbards I've made lately.
First up is a sword scabbard for my viking sword. Wooden core wrapped with acorn tanned Deerskin tanned by a friend in Fife who is opening a woodland tannery. Scabbard is made with historic techniques and style, finished with silvered hardware.
Some sheaths tooled with viking wolves for a client in the states. The knives are made by wantaforge. Client took images.
Scottish Dirk Scabbard. Oak core, lined with sheepskin, wrapped in cowhide.
Kukri sheath with shoulder strap.
Salmon skin sheath for bronze dagger.
Simple axe sheath.
Thanks for looking
