The long leaves and roots are Iris, Yellow is the common colour if not cultivated.
The first looks similar to one I have in my pond, strong mint smell when the leaves are crushed but cannot remember the name.

Possibly: water mint, a type of liverwort, yellow iris, opposite leaved saxifrage and green alkanet.

Just shows it's always worth a sniff and a feel when your unsure of plant ID.

Yeah Bob on, I always do it tbf, good advice,
The first one did smell of mint as I crushed and rolled it between my fingers.
