a small is listed here as 32" to 38" chest. I have the large and it's about right at 42" to 46" I'm a 42 and my large is 'roomy' It packs down to grapefruit size, has it's own wee pouch. Had this paddling on Sunday, very dreich constant moderate drizzle, kept me pretty dry, great back up jaiket!
