Snugpak Group buy of old

Hi Guys

Ive seen a couple of members using BCUK underblankets and overquilts previously on some of the meets ive been too, and after speaking to Carl (mentalnurse) he said they were done as a group buy on the forum, he thought it was Hugh (British Red) that had organised it but he wasn't certain.

Basically i'm looking to speak to whoever ordered the kit to see if they have the details so that i might be able to approach the company and see if they would think of doing it again and what kind of numbers would be needed etc.

Can anyone help me with this?

Think you need to talk to wanderingstar (Ian) of this parish. He's the fellow who designed them so I'm sure he could point you in the right direction. I'd be interested depending on price....

I got one of each a few months ago and used them for the first time recently, great bits of kit. I got them from here http://www.outdoorgb.com/search.asp?q=snugpak hammock&p=1&a=&b=&pmin=&pmax=&c=12. Not cheap but they aren't easy to get hold of and that was the cheapest I could find them. Good luck.

The underquilt is available at DD as far as I know. I took over the last GB for someone who had already negotiated the pricing, it was done via a retailer (http://www.woodlandedge.co.uk/) not direct with Snugpak see http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27522
