Snugpak Ebony jacket

Not tried one but worn and own Snugpak stuff. My current wear is a Sleeka Elite that gets worn under my Ventile when its serious shiver weather or as an outer garment on cold crisp days. Delighted with it in the round although its clearly not a "fireside" garment. Chose it over the Sasquatch as hoods are for wet...not cold... and generally don't belong on a mid layer garment. So I think the Ebony is a winner since you can detach the hood

Thanks for the reply British Red, I too own a Snugpak Sleeka Elite and also a Pile Elite which are both excellent pieces of kit. I am interested in the Ebony due to its removable hood and also as it is warmer, I'm headed up to the North West Territories in a month and would like a bit warmer jacket to throw on aside from the issue parka.
