hiya,
i had the snugpak Bergen (100-ish litres), and the Sleeka force(35 litre), also have a sleeping bag and a jacket, both elite models.
the packs are of a reasonable standard, lighter and more padded than army versions. but i got rid of both packs. they are designed primarily for use over webbing, and as a result are both too short in the back length for me. i'm 6'1" tall and just found them a struggle under load beacause the hip belt doesn't sit on my hips. the bergens draw cord hood inside the lid didn't run thru eyelts and i could see this wearing in the future.
The daysack was very good and to be honest, the only reason i got rid of it was i found the side pockets deeply annoying as they are elasticated as well as draw corded. it was a fiddle getting the water bottles in and out of the pocket, and i just lost my rag in the end and sold it.
I'll be honest though, they are good generally, and if they were to do a longer back on the bergen i'd buy it again. very nicely padded. mucho lovely!
the other kit is top notch, no moans there, my jacket is due to be replaced this year and i've had 4 years good use and washing out of it, and gonna get exactly the same again.
hope this helps.
Rob
