Mine have been out for a few days and the ones under an oak down the alley for me ahve been otu since Xmas day. Always cheers me up for some reason...
we're in a real pocket of cold air - plenty of freezing fog. Mind you I like walking through the wood on foggy nights.
Think it cheers me up as it the first sign that the days a lenghtening and spring is coming. Althought I really do like winter it still lifts the spirits.
