snail farming

Its just at the idea stage at the moment.
I've looked into keeping them, what to feed them and all the rest of it.

Also know about the 8 day purging as well - what I need to know is, I've heard rumours that you have to gut them as well - is this true? and Do you have to cut the foot off?

I'm guessing gutting is gonna be incredibly fiddly and the foot will be most of the snail.

Just purge and eat them whole i like mine sauted with garlic and butter yum
