Sharp thorns on branches, sour taste, 99.9% sure just want to check before I waste a bottle of foul tasting gin on them. Mind you, I hate gin so it's not much of a loss...

I hate Gin!

But I love Sloe Gin, Sloe Vodka is very good too!

Some people say their taste improves with a little frost, so as you probably haven't had a frost yet it might be an idea to freeze them before you add the Gin. I have also heard this breaks the skin so you don't have to ***** each one which helps release the flavour.
