Hi All
3 or 4 seasons sleeping bags, that are not down. Any recommendations? Off to Sweden canoeing in September not sure what the temperature will be, but thinking at night it may be a little chilly at night. Anybody been there at that time of year? Definitely want a good nights sleep rather be to hot that to cold.

South of Sweden is on level with Scotland, north is above the Arctic Circle. A handy rule is that when there is snow on the ground a 4 season bag might be useful. There is always the odd day for off season weather though. Height should be taken into account too.

Thank you for your input, I have jest been reading about the British Army Military Modular Sleep System, do you have any knowledge on this at all?

I don't have experience of the newer modular system, but I do have experience of using the older arctic sleeping bag and the old style 'jungle' sleeping bag. A few moons ago I made my own modular sleep systems by using those two bags, a US poncho liner which, when combined with the bivy bag is a good 'covers all bases' modular system. I used to simply swap in and out which ever mix and match suited the weather conditions.
