Found this buried in a raised veg bed. I'm leaning towards two possibilities. One wild, one domestic. Not certain though.

Any ideas?

On simmer now - I would guess polecat or mink but, based on where you are, probably mink (or, of course, ferret).

I did think it maybe too large. There was a great prog on about Mustelids the other day.

Looks like it may have taken a .22 between the eyes!

Too broad/large for a mink, I think. Initial thoughts this end were polecat/ferret due to the size.

Brought it back and compared it to the mink we've got at the house.
