I try to avoid getting craft stuff unless I really have a use for it, but I couldnt resist a set of shrink plastic for £1 in a charity shop.

Have you seen this stuff? Used to be in cerial boxes as a kid, you colour in the picture, and put it in the oven and it shrinks to a hard block.

So, Im thinking.

My only idea so far is zip pull labels.

any ideas?

I think my children did something similar with crisp packets.
How consistent is the shrink?
Can you make 3D objects?

Right now my son is printing me some fluorescent tent peg tops and guyline tags. Just last year I started camping in the summer. This involves “other people” which is not a problem for a winter wild camper. Hence need to flag everything on an unfamiliar tent design.

Is the material suitable for making a portable cutting mat/strainer like that ridiculously expensive Trangia item?

Identity tag?
Med tag?

I’m trying to imagine it and talking out of my bum.
