its a crook knife,blade from dorset woodland blades.

cheers fella. I bought a Mr brog from Poland and the stem was dodgy. Got in touch and they sent a couple more that are more robust. That's the only reason this one is a church warden. Pm me if you want their details, stems are hard to find in the UK for some reason

I just bought a Mora 162 spoon knife myself, and planning to try doing some spoons soon.
What wood would be best for spoon carving?
