I have a Shing bushcrafter blade that i had intended to make up to match my Shing bush baby, I sold the bush baby recently on here and i have so many projects on the go at the minute that i won't get around to finishing this one any time soon.
So if anyone is interested in having a go at making a knife this is a good way to start.
The hard work of grinding and HT is already done and you still have an opportunity to put your own ideas into the knife by fixing and shaping the scales.
OAL is 230mm, blade is just 110mm, 4mm thick , 01
I will also include a set of spalted birdseye maple scales, some fibre liners and a set of mosaic pins and a piece of tubing for the lanyard hole.
It's everything (minus epoxy) that you need to make your own knife and I'd really like to see this go to someone who hasn't made a knife before, making and then using a knife that you have had a hand in creating is a very satisfying experience and it's not as hard as many people think.
This knife can be completed with very simple tools, just a drill, a rasp or file and some sand paper would be required, you don't need a workshop full of tools.
Price is £55 delivered.
I have tried to get some pics this evening but they are rubbish in artificial light so i will try and get some tomorrow in day light
You must be 18 or older to purchase this blade
