Sheepfarms, Farmstays and New Zealand

Hi all. Next year I'm going to boarding school, will be fun. After that I think i'm gonna go for gymnasium, also known as high school.

But after that at the age of about 20, I thought about a one year visit on a new zealand sheepfarm. That could be so much fun but also hard work and good pay.

Is there anybody out there who has tried this? Or are you a shepherd?

Hi little Viking,
I am planning to get some sheep if i finally get my farm.
As I can see that you like to learn about sheep and I guess you can read
swedish I like to point you to the bible of sheep farmers.
The book is out of print but I manage to get one on tradera.se for only
30 SEK. Maybe you have luck too, otherwise its quite expensive to get hold of.
Anyhow here it is:

I'm spending some time working on a deer farm in New Zealand this summer and from what I have heard its a great place to be. when I get back I'll post on this thread or pm you or something and let you know what you can expect out there if you want.
