eye its been a good day all round,

I like all mushroom and of course when you are used to field mushrooms the texture and flavours can be somewhat different, I have eaten inkcaps for years. Rather than a soggy slime, to me they are delicate, well fragranced and creamy. I used to dislike the inky blackness but now that's part off what they are. I think they are a delicacy and rather good.'

seen some rooms today bernie that I have never seen the like of, One was like a gnarled old piece of sponge. another looked like thick petal aranged in a rosette and with a nipple squirting out the spores, wish i had taken my camera, the ground was carpeted with the buggers
