Well, Im not overtly fond of the Delectable Duchy, but there is one great thing here...Geology.

Theres lots of faschinating rocks...Many of them decorative.

I have found some serpentine pebbles...a soft rock.

Im going to use some as gaming counters...any other suggestions?

Lucky you :)
We have to dig it out up in Aberdeenshire or from the coast at Portsoy.

It's a beautiful stone, it carves with a pocket knife, sands with a nail file, and it polishes up with tcut or Astonish paste. It makes beautiful jewellery pieces….like netsukes or Maori fishhook pendants type.

Our comes in two different jade greens and a dark blood red colour. The dark green matchs my eyes :D
What is your one like ?

Small pebbles to too big to lift?

The colours vary. Green to red to grey to back, with speckles, veins or banding.

It truly is an exciting stone. And as Mary said, good and workable.

I have other stones too. I found some Trocolite (troutstone, called from the red speckles)

Ill put pictures up when less lazy
