The story so far.
Going to S America for three weeks
expedition
need food
must be light
taking kids so want to take enough rather than fend for myself as I probably would on my own
My expedition cooking skills (if taking food) = pasta n sauce, oat so simples et al
This eminently delightful repertoire of culinary delicacies might wane with the company by week 2
The problem
There are books out there on eating pignuts, funghi etc. etc. and there are 'proper' recipe books aimed at being in a kitchen.
There does not seem to be much in the lightweight expedition cooking recipes line.
I'm after a sort of "Delia does trangia" or Gordon Ramseys "it's not too effing heavy to carry" or "How to be a campsite goddess"
Has anyone come across such literature?
