Checked with SANDMARC and this fits any iPhone. As the lens isn’t too unwieldy it works ok with the clothes peg type clip, but if it’s getting a lot of use you’d need to get the corresponding case for your iPhone. They do 2 types of these, the one I have is a full case, but there’s a hard plastic version too. I found it a sod to prise off and so use the full case as my daily protection for the phone even without the lens on.
Originally this rattled, and I contacted SANDMARC who immediately posted out another. Since then I’ve undone the lens retaining ring and done it back up and it’s fine. I’d like to recoup a bit of the tax, shipping and 2 lots of FedEx admin fees so £50 with post and packing.
There was a little soft bag with it, pretty sure that’s on a log at Petworth Park while I was changing lenses. I’m also pretty sure it wasn’t designed for this lens as it was really hard to squeeze the lens in and out.
