with some new stuff; made a new sheath yesterday and finished today

Sadle tan oil dye
Dark brown thread
3mm veg tan full grain cow leather
wet formed in oven

knife; Woodlore style knife (not the same as original) made bij ROGAknives.com

It's very nice but when wet moulding you should try to keep the back of the sheath as flat as possible so it sits nicely against the body,not sure about the rapid drying of leather in the oven either. Also I would want more than a few stitches holding the belt loop. ( especially as you have taken them too close to the edges, which has more or less cut the leather in two )
Nice colour & the stitching looks great.

Thanks for the comments bros, next time indeed more stitches in the loop (my sheet was only that long, so I could not sacrifice more belt space which stitching)!

On the oven drying....yeah hmm I dont know, I learned this from the Youtube vid from Ian Atkinson.
Are there people around which have similar results with normal (air) drying?? To me its seems difficult to maintain the tight shape. When in oven I take it out about 4 times to reshape.
