Sabre hydration system

Hi guys,

Do any of you have any experience with the karrimor hydration system:

I can only seem to find it on RM's website and im not quite sure how well it connects to the sabre rucksack's PLCE system as I cant seem to see any zips down the edges.

Basically does anyone have and use one, is it compatible with the sabre 60-100 and is it any better than just stuffing a hydration pack in a regular side pocket?

it looks exactly like the camel back issue one. it clips better onto a webbing yoke to be honest as the issue ones already have the same sized clips. but on an issue bergan, we used to just slip the shoulder straps over the side pouches and pull them tight....

I have one in Black, got mine from here http://www.basecampstockport.co.uk, no links to them just bought it there. You're right there are no zips but it clips to the side of sabre or can be used on it's own. The straps tuck into the pack when you clip it to the sabre.

good point! slipped my mind for some reason! if you take the side pouches off there should be clips underneath!

bugger me that site is a bit pricey :O
I think I will invest in one or a similar brand if its as easy as that.
Will be nice to have a designated pocket just for water.

see if you can find a second hand army one somewhere... just make sure the spout opening doesnt leak!
