Sabre 45 : Which side pockets?

Hello folks.

I'm looking for non DPM side pockets for my sabre 45.

Besides generic PLCE pockets, do pockets from Berghaus vulcans or Snugpak fit the sabre 45? Anyone know of a source?

I know Mr Mears sells Karrimre sabre side pockets but I find the 39.00 price a bit of a bitter pill, and the only PLCE pockets I've found have all been DPM.

Oh yes, a yoke for an optional daypack would be nice.

Try giving Endicott's a call - that's where I got mine. Grade 1 surplus, good and cheap.

2nd that! Endicott's had them for a couple of pounds each and I think they were the OD versions rather than DPM

Hi I just bought a 45 from AWE - http://www.awe-outdoors.co.uk/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=97

They have both the bag and pockets in black & olive - I think they charge about 35 for the pockets, with a reduction if you buy both the bag and the pockets.

They gave great service.

Endicotts again, i bought a pair in great condition in olive green for £9.95 inc postage, not bad!

Snugpak fits, but they are a little smaller and shorter. Vulcan ones fit just right but a slightly different shade. Not much mind, could be cos they were old and my bag is new!
