Rowan berry recipes.

The Rowan trees here are in full fruit at the moment. Does anyone have any recipes to use them, I believe they make a good jam, can they be used like Sloes, to flavour Gin or Vodka. Thanks in advance


There are bright red one too.

some good ones here helped me make some really nice jam http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=133847 and I've made some juice from the berries two pounds sugar to one pound berries but not tried them like sloes yet.
