Golly gosh. I've just gone and done it again today. Ok Mr Hood my gauntlet is thrown down before you lol xIve split several arrows but this is the first time I have done a Robin Hood on the bulls eye. Has anyone else ever done that? xxx

Oh yes, great shot. very satisfying even though it costs a few quid. xBeen a while for me. Can't really make it out but the 2nd arrow disappeared inside the 1st arrow splitting the carbon and alu off to make the curls. This is a worcester so 20 yards IIRC
ps ,what does worcester IIRC mean?, 20 yard is a good distance. My aim is to be accurate from about 20 meters. I wouldnt take a hunting shot after that after that (i woudlnt anyway but the distance is the goal) I have set myself five years to achieve it but I think I am doing ok after less than a year. xBeen a while for me. Worcester | 20 yd (18 m) | 5 doz. | 16 inches |

Portsmouth | 20 yd (18 m) | 5 doz. | 60 cm |

yeh my groupings are getting tighter and the paradox is that the better you get the more money it costs, xOnce is bad luck...twice is careless!
I have not done that, but I was once very pleased with a tight group I shot while practicing with broad heads...right up to the point I realised I had sliced half my fletchings off! From then on it was one shot per target spot. More realistic, still a group, but spread out so one doesn't damage arrows.
dont understand any of that. I am suprised at some of the long distances. I dont think I could shoot that far but to be fair I havn't tried xIt's a specific indoor target archery round. I had to google it to refresh my memory but it's;
Worcester 20 yd (18 m) 5 doz. 16 inches
There are imperial rounds and metric rounds, indoor and outdoor rounds, it's just one of the indoor rounds we used to shoot. The other, more popular indoor round was a Portsmouth;
Portsmouth 20 yd (18 m) 5 doz. 60 cm
I think I used to do warwicks outdoors, up to 100 yards.

my camera was in the van else where but i.ve since done a robin hood shot a third time., i seem to consistently split my own arrows, i just wish my overall form was as good. x
I guess I was yes but would have preferred half a cm either side and keep the arrow. xWere you aiming to do it?
use my fingers and not a release trigger, the same as i shoot a recurve bow. thats what rambo does aswel. xSorry, how do you shoot a compound bow like a recurve?
i will use multiple points i think, its a good suggestion, at the moment i use a blank business card with a pound coin size black dot in the middle. i try to follow the practice of aim small, miss small. xWhat bow and kit are you using….and why not multiple aim points?
