Thanks for the info. Actually ptr10001 another member sent me the same detail last night but I couldn’t get on the website so he very kindly sent photos & details.
I had seen exactly the same on Sporting Cutlery a few days earlier but a lot cheaper so I ordered it last night.

Hmm. Looks interesting. Thanks for the update. Unsure about the strange Looking blade. It looks flat at the cutting edge. Have you ever used one like this ?

No I haven’t. He does make great knives though. I’ve got two of his that I’d never sell. I recon it’s worth saving up and commission one from him direct, that way you’ll get exactly what you want. Good luck!

I'm sure you're right. Better than spending a lot on a second best option. I'll wait a bit longer to see if there are any responses to the ad. If not I will go down the direct route. Thanks for your advice. As you may have noticed, I'm not good at making up my mind !!!!
