Retro Soviet Canteen

Soviet Canteen in stainless steel (I think).
It has embossed words and motifs on both sides.
Diameter is a shade over 6" and it's 2" thick.I guess that capacity
is about half a litre.It has a white leatherette strap which seems pretty robust and the cap screws on tight and does not leak.
Would work well as part of a retro outdoors kit.Not "stealth" or "ultralight" but built like a brick outhouse and I'd think it capable
of felling an attacking bear quite easily!

I'm open to offers of leather , leatherworking kit , GB axes always welcome! , tarp.

But very short of leather...anything else you might like?

I don't need any more sharps (SWMBO nodding in a threatening way.)
Firesteels or ferro rod for the scouts to make up some steels.Little carving adze or axe head maybe.
Canoe stuff like a throwline,paddle.Big leather belt (44" plus to go outside jacket).
I'm open to suggestions as the "cyberhip flask" is just gathering dust.
What I really need is some leather to make two sheaths but try me with anything else you like.
