restoration project

i was asked by one of our customers to restore an old belt that he had, this was in a sorry state when it arrived to me, the colour was not like any i have seen, before, it was starting to go brittle, and the leather was screaming out to be fed, to be honest i recon another 12 months like this and i would not have brought this back, i do quite a lot of this type of work for a customer, that brings me leather goods, and i put them back right, but he is not keen on me showing the projects.
any how this customer has a bag that he bought which is a very dark brown, and wanted me to make this belt to match, the belt buckle that came with this was shot, and the attachment for this was very rusty, the belt was also to short, so it needed extending.
so of to the drawing i went.

thanks our kid, me neither the old colour was terrible, and i could understand what he wanted it changing
