Hi Folks,
i have one of the older Tentipi Varrie 9 cotton tipis. (the older model to the current Safir). It is over 10 years ale and i noticed that, last time out, the nylon valence was starting to give around the corners (where the peg guys attach).
Apparently this was a common fault, hence why the Safir has the much heavier duty fabric on the bottom now.
I had a good chat with Tentipi, but they want £1100 to replace the valence and a new tent is £1800, so thats a no go.
I know someone who is willing to sew on some patches but what would be the best material to use?
I know this is only going to give the tent a few more years, but at leaf it gives me the chance to start saving for a new one.

Many thanks
